An audiobook based on a research paper by the EVA Lettuce network is now available on all major podcast platforms.
In 10 minutes, the audiobook explores the key findings of the paper ‘Development and Application of Single Primer Enrichment Technology (SPET) SNP Assay for Population Genomics Analysis and Candidate Gene Discovery in Lettuce,’ which was published last year in Frontiers in Plant Science.
In this research, the single primer enrichment technology (SPET) – a novel high-throughput genotyping method – was used in lettuce for the first time to study the genetic diversity of a collection of 160 Lactuca accessions originating from 10 countries in Europe, America and Asia, and to identify genomic regions that underpin important agronomic traits.
