the ECPGR website has been upgraded, in order to respond to increased security system requirements at Bioversity International. We took advantage of this required migration to a safest location to make some changes on the website:
November 2014
- The AEGIS website has been merged with the ECPGR website. In this way all the respective pages are directly reachable without moving from one site to the other.
- We changed the layout a bit, gave it a more modern-looking make-up and the menu bar has been changed in order to have an easier navigation throughout the site.
- The website is now featured also for use on smartphones and tablets.
- There are improved and easier search tools for publications, meetings, germplasm databases; all are also possible on smartphones.
- The Working Group experts are now listed by country and by category of expertise.
- There are links for RSS for latest news and publications, and icons of the social media for sharing info.
- The new website will contain information on ECPGR and AEGIS. It will include information about the activities of the Working Groups during Phase IX. For information regarding previous Phases of ECPGR, we created an archive which is easily accessible from the homepage and from the links on each Working Group page.
More features will be implemented next year, such as online monitoring of country quota, database and search tool for project reports, etc.
You can subscribe to RSS feeds for "News" and "Latest publications" from the homepage. Updated information from the feed is automatically downloaded to your computer and can be viewed in Internet Explorer and other programs. Learn more about feeds.
Please note that some links may have been broken in the migration process. We are doing our best to fix everything and apologise for the inconvenience. Thank you for your understanding.
We would appreciate to have your feedback on this new site.
We hereby wish to thank Bioversity International and NewtVision for their assistance. We hope that you will find the ECPGR website useful and effective to find the ECPGR-related information that you need.
