UK in situ crop wild relatives data now available on EURISCO

The UK National Inventory on EURISCO now includes data on 1,248 in situ CWR populations of potential importance for breeding and research

To access the in situ crop wild relatives data, click on ‘Passport data’ on the left-hand side menu, then click 'In situ CWR search'. Data can be searched by National Inventory, genus and species. In addition, each result of a standard search can be filtered for in situ CWR material.

 

The European Search Catalogue for Plant Genetic Resources (EURISCO) now includes data on 1,248 in situ crop wild relatives (CWR) populations from the UK.

The UK is one of the partners of the ‘Extension of EURISCO for crop wild relatives in situ data and preparation of pilot countries’ data sets’ project, funded by the German Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture and coordinated by ECPGR.
