EURISCO, the one-stop shop for information on more than 2 million accessions of crop diversity maintained in Europe, has launched a renewed web portal.
The EURISCO catalogue is based on international standards and enables users to search and access information on food crops, forages, wild-and-weedy species, including cultivars, landraces, breeding lines, genetic stocks and research material conserved in European genebanks and other institutions.
The new site features a responsive design and new functionalities based on users' feedback, including a combined search via passport and phenotypic data, faceted search, map-based selection options of accessions as well as search indices for scientific names and common crop names.
We invite users to explore the new portal and contact eurisco@ecpgr.org to provide comments or request new features.
EURISCO is managed by the Leibniz Institute of Plant Genetics and Crop Plant Research (IPK), Gatersleben, Germany, on behalf of the Secretariat of the European Cooperative Programme for Plant Genetic Resources (ECPGR)
