- C&E data: a very large data set was provided by the Czech Republic (over 1 million data points). The search module for C&E data was modified to facilitate the search.
- Digital Objects Identifier (DOIs): for the first time, DOIs were provided by the Netherlands (22 878 accessions), thus facilitating the unique identification of accessions.
